Bio

Spencer Fox MBA (Hons) is Managing Director for Reputation Institute United Kingdom. He is a branding expert with a wealth of experience in defining and developing unique brand positions. Spencer spent a number of years at J. Walter Thompson leading their London specialized communications team where he delivered major brand projects for Visit Britain, Securicor (G4S) and Guinness Brewing, amongst others. Spencer went on to launch Axis Communications, a niche brand and advertising planning consultancy that worked with major UK companies, providing insight and direction on how to realize the power of a uniquely positioned brand strategy. Whilst at Axis, Spencer developed 'The Foundry'—a research based consulting offering that uncovered an organization's brand position as defined by its key stakeholders i.e. it's reputation. This work was of particular interest to Spencer and led him to pursue the role at Reputation Institute.

Bio

As Head of Business Development for Reputation Institute UK, Raakesh Savji Parmar (BA, MSc) is responsible for working closely with the firm's executive management and senior practice leaders and tasked with the strategy, execution, and ownership of the business development function. Prior to joining Reputation Institute, Raakesh spent seven years in Barcelona, four of which were spent working as a sales manager for German software company SAP, where he successfully grew the business and increased their footprint in the Financial, and Professional services markets, and was responsible for sales, channel management, and business development activities across the whole of the SAP portfolio of products. He also spent three years heading up a sales team at Global Events company, Marcus Evans, where he increased the year on year revenues in the telecoms, software, and pharmaceutical markets, whilst forging commercial partnerships with key trade associations such as GSMA and Telemanagement Forum, to successfully increase offerings to incubator companies across the world, as well as dealing with major corporations.

Bio

Seamus Gillen BA MBA FCIS set up the UK operation of Reputation Institute and now acts as a senior policy adviser to RI. He focuses on the links between reputational risk and corporate governance and the strategic importance of these issues in creating value, generating investor confidence and building sustainable advantage with wider groups of stakeholders. Seamus worked for the UK Government as a policy adviser, becoming Private Secretary to the UK Secretary of State for the Environment, and then the UK Deputy Prime Minister. He oversaw a number of significant policy initiatives, including the Kyoto Protocol and the development of London Docklands. He moved into industry as the Company Secretary and Director of Regulation at AWG plc, a water and utilities company listed on the London Stock Exchange, and subsequently became Head of Public Policy and Regulation at O2 plc, another UK listed company, before it was acquired by Telefónica.
